14 DAY RETURNS POLICY
PLEASE NOTE THIS HAS BEEN UPDATED AS OF 30TH MAY 2026. FOR ALL ORDERS FROM THIS DATE WE WILL OFFER REFUNDS ONLY.
We hope that you are 100% satisfied with your purchase, however if for any reason you are not, you may return your items within 14 days of receiving them, subject to the conditions below and depending on your location. Your return is subject to the following Terms & Conditions and, by making a purchase from Sydney Lane, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to this Policy.
ALL RETURNS ARE SUBJECT TO A £3.95 RESTOCKING FEE PER ORDER.
Your refund will be made to the same payment method you used to place the order, minus the £3.95 return restocking fee per order.
ELIGIBILITY FOR RETURNS
- The item/s must be in their original condition, unworn, unwashed and with all original tags and packaging intact. Please wear underwear when trying on intimate pieces.
- All items will be checked for tan, makeup, fragrance odour or marks/stains and will not be accepted if item contains them. Please take extra care when trying on if you wear fake tan and remove any jewellery that may snag.

Sale items can be returned for a refund to the original payment method. Final Sale items can be returned for a credit note only, with no refunds to the original payment method.
- We reserve the right to refuse returns that show signs of wear or do not meet the above criteria.

RETURN SHIPPING
You are responsible for the cost of your return shipping. Please ensure you obtain proof of postage with a tracking number and that the parcel is insured for the value of the items. We do not take any responsibility for lost parcels. Missing packages will need to be addressed with your chosen return courier.
For international orders, please note that any return duties, taxes, or import charges incurred by Sydney Lane when receiving the returned parcel will be deducted from the refund total.
INITIATION OF A RETURN
To initiate a return, please visit our Returns Center. Enter your Order Number and follow the instructions on-screen.
Please include your original delivery note in your parcel (or alternatively, a copy of your order number) and send your returns to:

Please note, all returns must be registered through our Returns Center. Returns that are not registered through the portal may experience delays in processing or may not be accepted.
We do not offer pre-paid returns and you are responsible for the cost of return shipping. Please include your original delivery note in the returns package.
CUSTOMS DUTIES & TAXES
Customs duties, taxes, and import fees may apply to orders shipped outside the UK, depending on the destination country.
United States orders:
For all orders shipping to the US, any applicable duties and customs fees are calculated and paid at checkout at the time of purchase. No additional charges will be due on delivery.
All other international orders (excluding the United States):
Customs duties, taxes, and import fees are not included in product prices or shipping costs and are the responsibility of the recipient. We are unable to advise the amount, as charges vary by country. Please contact your local customs office for further information.
If a parcel is refused due to unpaid duties or taxes and is returned to Sydney Lane, original shipping costs and return shipping fees will be deducted from any eligible refund.
By completing your purchase, you acknowledge and accept responsibility for any applicable customs duties and taxes in line with the above.
INSPECTION AND APPROVAL
Once we receive your return, we will inspect the items to ensure that they meet all the criteria. To be eligible for a refund, your goods must be returned unworn and undamaged. We will notify you via email of the approval/rejection of your return.
REFUND PROCESS
Once the refund has been approved, please allow approximately 14 working days for the refund to be processed. The time taken for the refund to appear may vary, depending on your financial institution.
Refunds will be issued in the same form of payment used for the original purchase.
When you select a refund to a store gift card through our returns center, you’ll receive your refund amount plus a 20% bonus as a thank-you for shopping with us.
