GIVEAWAY TIMELINE

The giveaway closes at midnight UK time on Tuesday, 17th December.

The winner will be announced on Wednesday, 18th December via Sydney Lane’s Instagram stories and contacted directly through Instagram Direct Message. The prize will be shipped by 20th December, in time for Christmas.

WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT & CONTACT

The winner will be chosen at random and notified via the social media account they used to enter.

Sydney Lane will make two attempts to contact the winner via Instagram.

If the winner does not respond by the end of the day on Wednesday, 18th December, they forfeit their right to the prize, and Sydney Lane reserves the right to select and notify a new winner.

DELIVERY OF THE PRIZE

The winner will allow up to 14 days for the prize to be delivered.

Please note that any Next Day & Saturday delivery orders placed after 2 pm on Thursday 2/04 will be despatched on Tuesday 7/04 due to the Easter bank holiday. 

All delivery times are from the date of dispatch. These times are estimates only and are provided to us by our shipping partners. All domestic orders will be shipped via UPS. All international orders will be shipped via our chosen courier. Shipping times vary with each shipping location.

Estimated delivery times are to be used as a guide only and Sydney Lane cannot guarantee that you will receive your package within the above time frames. 

Please Note: We cannot accept any orders to a PO box and any orders lost as a result of being shipped to a PO box are not our responsibility.

UK SHIPPING

Please note the cut off for UK Next Day Delivery is 2pm Mon - Thurs. A Next Day order placed before 2pm Friday would arrive on Monday. We don't currently pick and pack at the weekends. 

We now offer Saturday Delivery for UK addresses only. The cut off for Saturday Delivery is 2pm Friday or 11am Friday 28th November - Black Friday.

During peak periods such as Black Friday, we recommend placing Saturday Delivery orders before 11am Friday due to exceptionally high courier volumes. While this service is paid, it cannot be guaranteed during peak trading periods.

For orders shipping to Northern Ireland or Isle of Man, we only offer UK Standard Shipping. Next Day and Saturday Delivery are not available to addresses in Northern Ireland or Isle of Man.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

Orders shipping outside the United Kingdom may be subject to customs duties, taxes, and import fees depending on the destination country.

United States orders:

For orders shipping to the United States, any applicable duties and customs fees are calculated and collected at checkout. No additional charges will be payable upon delivery.

All other international destinations (excluding the United States):

Duties, taxes, and import fees are not included in product prices or shipping costs and remain the responsibility of the customer. Sydney Lane is unable to advise the amount of any such charges, as they vary by country. Customers are advised to contact their local customs authority for further information.

Orders shipping to Canada and Africa will be sent via UPS.

All other international destinations outside the UK, USA, and Australia will be shipped using FedEx.

Please note that standard delivery operates weekdays Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, and commences from the date of dispatch. Delivery times may take longer over public holidays.

Unfortunately at this time, we cannot ship to Russia, Serbia, Brazil, Iran, or Israel.

Pre-order items are products that are not yet in stock at the time of purchase. By placing a pre-order, you acknowledge and agree that:

• Pre-order items will be dispatched only once stock has arrived at our warehouse
  
• Any shipping method selected at checkout applies from the date of dispatch, not the order date
  
• Estimated delivery times shown on our website begin after dispatch, not at the time of purchase
  

If your order contains both in-stock and pre-order items, in-stock items will be dispatched first, and pre-order items will be shipped separately once available, unless otherwise stated on the product page.

Pre-order timelines provided are estimates and may be subject to change due to production or supply chain delays. Customers will be notified if there are any significant changes to expected dispatch dates.

14 DAY RETURNS POLICY

PLEASE NOTE THIS HAS BEEN UPDATED AS OF 26TH SEPTEMBER. FOR INTERNATIONAL ORDERS FROM THIS DATE WE WILL OFFER REFUNDS ONLY AND NO EXCHANGES . 

We hope that you are 100% satisfied with your purchase, however if for any reason you are not, you may return or exchange your items within 14 days of receiving them, subject to the conditions below and depending on your location.

Your return is subject to the following Terms & Conditions and, by making a purchase from Sydney Lane, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to this Policy.

ALL RETURNS ARE SUBJECT TO A £3.95 RESTOCKING FEE PER ORDER.

Your refund will be made to the same payment method you used to place the order, minus the £3.95 return restocking fee per order.


ELIGIBILITY FOR RETURNS

• The item/s must be in their original condition, unworn, unwashed and with all original tags and packaging intact. Please wear underwear when trying on intimate pieces. 
• All items will be checked for tan, makeup, fragrance odour or marks/stains and will not be accepted if item contains them. Please take extra care when trying on if you wear fake tan and remove any jewellery that may snag. 
• Sale items can be returned for a refund to the original payment method. We do not offer exchanges on sale items. Final Sale items can be returned for a credit note only, with no exchanges or refunds to the original payment method.
• We reserve the right to refuse returns that show signs of wear or do not meet the above criteria.

SALE ITEMS

• Sale items can be returned for a refund to the original payment method. We do not offer exchanges on sale items.
• Final Sale items can be returned for a credit note only. We do not offer exchanges on final sale items.

RETURN SHIPPING

You are responsible for the cost of your return shipping. Please ensure you obtain proof of postage with a tracking number and that the parcel is insured for the value of the items. We do not take any responsibility for lost parcels. Missing packages will need to be addressed with your chosen return courier. 

For international orders please note any return duties, taxes, or import charges incurred by Sydney Lane when receiving the returned parcel will be deducted from the refund total.

To initiate a return, please visit our Returns Center. Enter your Order Number and follow the instructions on-screen. Please include your original delivery note in your parcel (or alternatively, a copy of your order number) and send your returns to:

Please note, all returns must be registered through our Returns Center. Returns that are not registered through the portal may experience delays in processing or may not be accepted.

We do not offer pre-paid returns and you are responsible for the cost of return shipping. Please include your original delivery note in the returns package.

For UK exchanges please follow the same process and in the returns centre select exchange, then add a note for which size you would like to exchange to. 


CUSTOMS DUTIES & TAXES

Customs duties, taxes, and import fees may apply to orders shipped outside the UK, depending on the destination country.

United States orders:
For all orders shipping to the US, any applicable duties and customs fees are calculated and paid at checkout at the time of purchase. No additional charges will be due on delivery.

All other international orders (excluding the United States):
Customs duties, taxes, and import fees are not included in product prices or shipping costs and are the responsibility of the recipient. We are unable to advise the amount, as charges vary by country. Please contact your local customs office for further information.

If a parcel is refused due to unpaid duties or taxes and is returned to Sydney Lane, original shipping costs and return shipping fees will be deducted from any eligible refund.

By completing your purchase, you acknowledge and accept responsibility for any applicable customs duties and taxes in line with the above.


INSPECTION AND APPROVAL

Once we receive your return, we will inspect the items to ensure that they meet all the criteria. To be eligible for a refund, your goods must be returned unworn and undamaged. We will notify you via email of the approval/rejection of your return. 


REFUND PROCESS

Once the refund has been approved, please allow approximately 14 working days for the refund to be processed. The time taken for the refund to appear may vary, depending on your financial institution. 

Refunds will be issued in the same form of payment used for the original purchase.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

Sydney Lane reserves the right to modify this returns policy at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website.

All prices are in Pounds Sterling and include VAT at the prevailing rate unless stated. Where applicable, delivery costs will be added to the total price of the goods. Prices are subject to change without notice. The price you pay is the price of the goods shown at the time you placed your order, plus any additional delivery costs if applicable. Despite our best efforts, pricing errors may occasionally occur.  We will verify pricing when processing your order.  If a product's correct price is higher than the price on the website, we may either contact you before shipping to request whether you want to buy the product at the correct price or cancel your order.  If a product's correct price is lower than our stated price, we will charge the lower amount and send you the product.

Pay in 3 interest-free instalments will allow you to spread the cost of your purchase over 3 equal payments. The payment for each instalment will automatically be collected from the debit or credit card you entered at checkout. Your first instalment will be collected when your order is confirmed by Sydney Lane and instalments 2 and 3 are scheduled 30 and 60 days later, respectively. You can always monitor your payments’ schedule in the Klarna app.

Klarna’s Pay in 3 instalments credit agreements are not regulated by the FCA. Use of these and any missed payments may affect your ability to obtain credit from Klarna and other lenders. 18+, UK residents only. Subject to status. T&Cs apply.

Clearpay is a payment service that lends customers a fixed amount of credit to make purchases instantly and then pay for them in 4 automatic instalments, made every 2 weeks, without any interest (late fees apply). The service is provided by Clearpay Finance Ltd.

Clearpay is only available to permanent UK residents aged 18+ (excluding Channel Islands) with a UK billing address.

Customers with international billing addresses will not be able to use Clearpay or create a Clearpay account.

Gemstones and other details may vary in colour from the product picture accompanying, due to the nature of each design. We aim to show the best representation of each product, but differences may naturally occur.

SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

We accept orders for delivery within the United Kingdom, including the Channel Islands, BFPOs, and select international countries specified in our Shipping Policy.

After placing your order, you will receive a confirmation email detailing the items and pricing. This email does not constitute an order acceptance from us.

When your order is dispatched, we will send you a dispatch confirmation email to the email address provided. This email signifies our formal acceptance of your order and our obligation to complete the contract.

If a different delivery address is requested, we reserve the right to confirm order details by sending a letter to the billing address.

ORDER ACCEPTANCE AND CANCELLATION

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order after it has been placed. This may occur for reasons including but not limited to:

• Payment authorization issues or flagged fraudulent transactions.
• Payment made with a card issued in a country we do not ship to.
• Errors on the website regarding product pricing or description.
• Items ordered are no longer in stock or available.
• Lack of response to our attempts to contact you regarding your order.

If the items you ordered are unavailable, you will be notified as soon as possible. Due to our rapid dispatch process, successful orders cannot be canceled, and any unwanted items must be returned for a refund or exhange. Please review our Refund Policy for more information.

By placing an order with Sydney Lane, you confirm that the information provided is accurate and that you are authorized to use the payment method submitted.

DISPATCH DELAYS

Orders containing multiple items may experience slight delays in dispatch. We will contact you promptly if your order is affected by any delay.

If you are not entirely happy with your recent experience, please raise a complaint by contacting our Sydney Lane customer service team at hello@sydneylane.com.

We aim to resolve your complaint as quickly as possible and if we are able to resolve your complaint within 14 days, we will send you a final response detailing our resolution. If we are unable to provide you with a final response at 15 days, we will send you a letter explaining the reason for delay and when we expect to issue you with a final response.

FOS

If you are dissatisfied with our response and your agreement is regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, you have the right to refer your complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service, free of charge, but you must do so within six months of the date of the final response or 8 week holding letter.
